1. Purpose of Vocafy

Vocafy is designed to help people learn languages through reading, listening, speaking, vocabulary practice, AI-assisted learning, and community-based educational content.

Vocafy is not a platform for abuse, harassment, propaganda, deception, copyright infringement, unsafe instructions, illegal activity, or public ideological conflict.

Our goal is to keep Vocafy useful, peaceful, and safe for learners of different ages, languages, cultures, and backgrounds.

2. General rule

You may use Vocafy only for lawful, respectful, and educational purposes.

You must not use Vocafy to upload, create, request, generate, store, publish, share, promote, distribute, or assist with content or activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, exploitative, infringing, unsafe, or inconsistent with the purpose of the Service.

This applies whether the content is written by you, imported by you, generated with AI, created using speech or audio tools, shared publicly, used privately, or sent through community features.

3. Prohibited content and activity

You must not use Vocafy for content or activity that:

  • is illegal or promotes illegal activity;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, database, moral, or other rights;
  • contains malware, viruses, spyware, phishing, credential theft, harmful code, or instructions for compromising systems;
  • involves spam, scams, fraud, fake offers, deceptive promotions, or abusive commercial activity;
  • harasses, threatens, abuses, humiliates, intimidates, bullies, or targets another person;
  • promotes hatred, discrimination, segregation, or dehumanization;

  • promotes, praises, recruits for, or assists terrorism, violent extremism, or organized violence;
  • encourages, instructs, or glorifies self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or serious physical harm;
  • contains excessive, graphic, sadistic, or shocking violence outside a legitimate educational context;
  • sexually exploits, endangers, grooms, solicits, or sexualizes minors;
  • contains sexual content involving minors, whether real, fictional, AI-generated, animated, or synthetic;
  • contains non-consensual intimate content, sexual images, sexual recordings, or sexualized private material;
  • shares private information about another person without permission, including addresses, phone numbers, documents, account details, private messages, location data, or other personal data;
  • impersonates another person, organization, teacher, school, company, public figure, or authority;
  • misleads users about identity, source, authorship, affiliation, permission, expertise, or authority;

  • violates the Terms of Service, this Policy, applicable law, or the rights of others.

4. Sensitive topics

Vocafy may allow neutral, educational, historical, cultural, linguistic, journalistic, or academic discussion of sensitive topics where appropriate for language learning.

For example, learners may discuss history, literature, religion, politics, culture, social issues, or current events in a respectful and educational way.

However, Vocafy must not be used for:

  • political campaigning;
  • ideological mobilization;
  • extremist messaging;
  • religious hostility;
  • hate speech;
  • propaganda;
  • harassment;
  • coordinated public disputes;
  • inflammatory debates unrelated to language learning;
  • targeting or attacking individuals or groups.

A language learning platform can discuss difficult topics. It should not become a tool for intimidation, polarization, recruitment, or abuse.

5. User content and imported content

You are responsible for the content you upload, import, create, save, publish, share, or generate through Vocafy.

This includes text, vocabulary lists, translations, examples, articles, images, audio, voice recordings, AI prompts, AI outputs, comments, public collections, shared learning materials, and any other content connected to your account.

You must have the rights, permissions, or legal basis needed to use your content on Vocafy.

You must not publicly share copyrighted books, articles, lyrics, transcripts, course materials, images, audio, videos, datasets, or other protected content unless you have permission or another valid legal basis.

Private learning import may be allowed for personal study purposes, but you remain responsible for how you obtain and use imported content.

Vocafy may remove, restrict, hide, label, disable, or limit content if we believe it may violate this Policy, the Terms of Service, applicable law, platform safety rules, or the rights of others.

6. AI use rules

Vocafy may include AI-assisted learning features, such as AI tutors, explanations, corrections, role-play, examples, translations, pronunciation support, and learning content generation.

You must not use AI features to create, request, improve, transform, hide, or distribute content that violates this Policy.

In particular, you must not use Vocafy’s AI features to:

  • generate illegal, abusive, hateful, exploitative, deceptive, infringing, or unsafe content;
  • create harassment, threats, scams, spam, manipulation, or social engineering;
  • impersonate another person or organization;
  • create deceptive synthetic media, fake identities, fake authority, or misleading public content;
  • generate sexual content involving minors or content that sexualizes minors;
  • produce non-consensual intimate or sexual material;
  • generate malware, phishing, cyber abuse, or instructions for unauthorized access;
  • evade safety systems, content rules, rate limits, or moderation;
  • produce professional advice that users are encouraged to rely on without qualified review;
  • misrepresent AI-generated content as verified, expert, human-authored, or official where that would be misleading.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using, sharing, publishing, or relying on it.

AI personas, tutors, characters, role-play partners, and simulated conversations are fictional educational tools. They must not be used to deceive people or create false impressions of real identity, authority, expertise, or affiliation.

Public or shared AI-generated content may be labelled, limited, reviewed, or moderated.

7. Voice, speech, and audio rules

Vocafy may include voice recording, speech recognition, pronunciation feedback, text-to-speech, generated audio, or other speech-related features.

You must not upload, record, process, clone, imitate, or generate another person’s voice unless you have the required permission or another valid legal basis.

You must not use Vocafy to:

  • impersonate another person through voice or synthetic audio;
  • create deepfake, deceptive, or misleading audio;
  • misrepresent generated audio as a real person speaking;
  • create non-consensual voice clones;
  • generate abusive, sexual, exploitative, hateful, threatening, or illegal audio;
  • publish or distribute generated audio in a way that violates rights, laws, or this Policy.

Pronunciation feedback and speech analysis are educational tools only. They are not professional certification, medical assessment, speech therapy, immigration assessment, employment assessment, or official language testing.

Generated audio is for personal learning use unless Vocafy clearly allows another use.

8. Community rules

Vocafy may allow public profiles, shared collections, comments, ratings, likes, follows, group learning spaces, collaborative collections, tandem learning, direct messages, classroom-like features, or other community tools.

When using community features, you must be respectful.

You must not:

  • harass, bully, shame, threaten, stalk, or intimidate others;
  • send unwanted sexual, romantic, commercial, political, religious, or ideological messages;
  • groom, exploit, manipulate, or solicit minors;
  • request private information from minors;
  • send spam, scams, fraud, misleading offers, or abusive promotions;
  • repeatedly contact someone who does not want to be contacted;
  • create fake engagement, fake accounts, fake reviews, fake ratings, or fake learning activity;
  • disrupt groups, classes, discussions, or shared learning spaces;
  • use public or shared content to attack, expose, humiliate, or target others.

Group owners, teachers, moderators, or administrators may have additional responsibilities. They should manage invitations, members, shared content, and group behavior in a way that is lawful, respectful, and appropriate for the learners involved.

Public and shared content must follow this Policy even if it was originally created for private learning.

9. Minors and child safety

Vocafy is child-aware and takes child safety seriously.

You must not use Vocafy to exploit, endanger, groom, sexualize, manipulate, contact, identify, or harm minors.

You must not upload, create, request, generate, save, share, or distribute any sexual content involving minors, including real, fictional, AI-generated, animated, synthetic, implied, or edited content.

You must not request private information from minors, including home address, school details, location, phone number, private social accounts, images, recordings, documents, or personal contact information.

You must not encourage minors to hide activity from parents, guardians, teachers, schools, or responsible adults.

Younger learners may use Vocafy only with parent, guardian, teacher, school, or other appropriate adult involvement where required by law or by Vocafy’s rules.

If we believe content or activity may involve child exploitation, grooming, sexual abuse material, or serious risk to a minor, we may act immediately, preserve relevant records, restrict accounts, remove content, and report the matter to appropriate authorities or organizations where required or appropriate.

10. Platform integrity and security

You must not misuse Vocafy’s systems, infrastructure, content, AI tools, APIs, or services.
