I often wonder if he will ever come back. Did he travel far into the past? Perhaps he is fighting for his life among the wild men of the Stone Age, or looking for a safe place among huge dinosaurs.

Or did he go forward? I like to think he found a better future, a time when humans have finally solved all the world's problems. However, my friend did not have much hope. He always believed that our modern society would eventually destroy itself. If he was right, we must still go on living the best we can today.

Even in that distant future, when human intelligence and strength had completely disappeared, love and kindness still lived on in the human heart.
