What exists or what state is it in?
Meaning
A non-dynamic situation: being somewhere, existing, having a property, remaining in a condition, or being linked to a description.
How to spot it
Look for 'is/are', 'there is', or a description that behaves like a predicate.

English usually requires the verb 'be' for states, locations, existence, and many descriptions.

Present-tense states usually have no overt “be”; past and future use forms such as كان or سيكون.

Learners may insert an unnecessary verb in present nominal sentences.
