When working on a group project with classmates or colleagues you call tu, you need quick, natural phrases to split the workload and pass tasks along from one person to the next.

  • Dividing the work: Ask who is doing what, split tasks fifty-fifty, or claim the part that suits you best.
  • Pairing up steps: Use simple contrasts like tu... et moi... or le début... la suite... to coordinate two halves of a job.
  • Handing work over: Tell your partner when to send a file, pass the baton with passer le relais, and ask them to check your work after you.
