बेन: Vocafy अनपैक्ड में फिर से आपका स्वागत है। मैं बेन हूँ और आज हम एआई ट्यूटर के बारे में बात करेंगे।
Ben: Welcome back to Vocafy Unpacked. I'm Ben, and today we're talking about AI tutors.
क्लारा: नमस्ते बेन। यह विषय दिलचस्प है, क्योंकि एआई चैट शायद भाषा सीखने के उन साधनों में से एक है जिन्हें समझना सबसे आसान है। आप बातचीत खोलते हैं और भाषा का इस्तेमाल शुरू कर देते हैं।
Clara: Hi Ben. This is an interesting one because AI chat is probably one of the easiest language-learning tools to understand. You open a conversation and start using the language.
बेन: यह अपने-आप में ही काफ़ी उपयोगी लगता है। जब मुझे रात के ग्यारह बजे अचानक स्पेनिश का अभ्यास करने का मन होता है, तब हमेशा कोई बात करने वाला उपलब्ध नहीं होता।
Ben: Which already sounds pretty useful. I don't always have somebody available when I suddenly decide I should practise Spanish at eleven at night.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल। जब भी आप अभ्यास करना चाहें, तब उपलब्ध रहने वाला बातचीत का साथी एक बड़ी व्यावहारिक बाधा दूर कर देता है।
Clara: Exactly. A conversation partner that is available when you want to practise removes one very practical barrier.
आप किसी विचार को व्यक्त करने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं, अटकने पर स्पष्टीकरण माँग सकते हैं और जब तक बातचीत आपके लिए उपयोगी हो, उसे जारी रख सकते हैं।
You can try to express an idea, ask for an explanation when you're stuck and continue for as long as the conversation is useful to you.
बेन: लेकिन अब एआई चैटबॉट हर जगह मौजूद हैं। मैं कोई सामान्य चैटबॉट खोलकर कह सकता हूँ, “मुझसे स्पेनिश में बात कीजिए।”
Ben: But there are AI chatbots everywhere now. I can open a general chatbot and say, "Talk to me in Spanish."
तो फिर भाषा सीखने की प्रणाली में अलग से ट्यूटर रखने की क्या ज़रूरत है?
So why put a tutor inside a language-learning system?
क्लारा: यही ज़्यादा दिलचस्प सवाल है।
Clara: That's the more interesting question.
फर्क सिर्फ़ इतना नहीं है कि आपके पास बात कर सकने वाला एक और एआई है।
The difference isn't simply having another AI that can talk.
असली फर्क यह है कि बातचीत किन चीज़ों से जुड़ सकती है।
It's what the conversation can connect to.
अगर ट्यूटर को आपकी पहले से सीखी जा रही शब्दावली के बारे में जानकारी हो, वह उस शब्दावली के कुछ हिस्से को बातचीत में फिर से ला सके, सही समय पर असली रिव्यू शामिल कर सके और चैट के दौरान सामने आई किसी उपयोगी चीज़ को सहेजने में आपकी मदद कर सके, तो बातचीत सीखने की एक बड़ी प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा बन जाती है।
If the tutor knows something about the vocabulary you're already learning, can bring some of that vocabulary back into conversation, can include a real review when appropriate and can help you save something useful that appears during the chat, then conversation becomes part of a larger learning process.
बेन: यानी हर चैट एकदम खाली पन्ने से शुरू होने के बजाय, मेरी सीख का कुछ हिस्सा मेरे साथ बना रह सकता है।
Ben: So instead of every chat beginning from a blank page, some of my learning can travel with me.
क्लारा: यही विचार है।
Clara: That's the idea.
शब्दावली सूची में किसी शब्द को देखकर पहचान लेना एक बात है। वाक्य में उसे पहचान पाना दूसरी बात है। और बातचीत के दौरान खुद उसका इस्तेमाल कर पाना उससे भी कठिन हो सकता है।
Knowing a word when you see it in a vocabulary list is one thing. Being able to recognise it in a sentence is another. And producing it yourself during a conversation can be harder again.
बातचीत आपको उस भाषा के साथ अभ्यास करने की एक और जगह देती है, जिससे आप पहले ही परिचित हो चुके हैं।
Conversation gives you another place to work with language you have already encountered.
बेन: इस जुड़ाव पर बात करने से पहले बताइए कि मैं किस तरह की बातचीत कर सकता हूँ?
Ben: Before we get into that connection, what kinds of conversations can I actually have?
क्लारा: अभ्यास करने के कई तरीके हैं।
Clara: There are several ways to practise.
अगर आप बस बात करना चाहते हैं, तो अपनी दिलचस्पी के किसी विषय पर खुली बातचीत शुरू कर सकते हैं।
If you simply want to talk, you can start a free conversation about something that interests you.
अगर आपको ज़्यादा मार्गदर्शन चाहिए, तो आप पाठ सत्र चुन सकते हैं, जिसमें ट्यूटर कोई विषय पेश कर सकता है, बातें समझा सकता है और सवाल पूछ सकता है।
If you want more guidance, you can use a lesson session where the tutor can introduce a topic, explain things and ask questions.
आप जो शब्द और अभिव्यक्तियाँ सीख रहे हैं, उन पर सीधे काम करने के लिए शब्दावली-केंद्रित सत्र भी उपलब्ध है।
There is a vocabulary-focused session for working more directly with words and expressions you're learning.
इसके अलावा, यात्रा, खाना ऑर्डर करने या नौकरी के इंटरव्यू जैसी वास्तविक परिस्थितियों के अभ्यास के लिए रोल-प्ले भी है।
And there is roleplay for situations you might actually face, such as travelling, ordering food or taking part in a job interview.
बेन: मुझे रोल-प्ले पसंद है, क्योंकि उसमें हल करने के लिए एक स्पष्ट स्थिति होती है। मुझे बैठकर यह नहीं सोचना पड़ता कि “आज दो इंसान किस बारे में बात करें?”
Ben: I like roleplay because there's an obvious problem to solve. I'm not sitting there thinking, "What should two humans talk about today?"
क्लारा: बिल्कुल। परिस्थिति बातचीत को एक उद्देश्य देती है।
Clara: Exactly. The situation gives the conversation a purpose.
मान लीजिए कि आप स्पेनिश सीख रहे हैं और किसी यात्रा की तैयारी कर रहे हैं।
Let's imagine you're learning Spanish and you're preparing for a trip.
आप दुकान वाला रोल-प्ले चुनते हैं। ट्यूटर दुकान के सहायक की भूमिका निभाता है और आप बातचीत में अपनी भूमिका का अभ्यास करते हैं।
You choose a shop roleplay. The tutor takes the role of the shop assistant and you practise your side of the interaction.
बेन: और यहीं से मेरी शब्दावली भी बातचीत में शामिल हो सकती है?
Ben: And this is where my vocabulary can start coming into it?
क्लारा: हाँ।
Clara: Yes.
बातचीत में उन चुने हुए शब्दों और अभिव्यक्तियों का इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है जिन्हें आप पहले से सीख रहे हैं। साथ ही, उनके बारे में Vocafy के पास मौजूद प्रासंगिक जानकारी भी काम में लाई जा सकती है।
Conversation can use selected words and expressions that you're already learning, together with some relevant information Vocafy has about them.
सामान्य बातचीत में इससे उपयोगी शब्दावली स्वाभाविक रूप से दोबारा सामने आ सकती है।
In a normal conversation, that can help useful vocabulary appear again naturally.
शब्दावली सत्र में ट्यूटर उन शब्दों पर अधिक सीधे ध्यान दे सकता है जिन पर आप काम कर रहे हैं या जो आपको कठिन लगे हैं।
In a vocabulary session, the tutor can focus more directly on words you're working on or words that have been difficult for you.
बेन: कोई उदाहरण दीजिए।
Ben: Give me an example.
क्लारा: मान लीजिए कि आप “Estoy buscando” सीख रहे हैं, जिसका अर्थ है “मैं ... की तलाश में हूँ।”
Clara: Suppose you've been learning "Estoy buscando", meaning "I'm looking for."
बातचीत में स्वाभाविक रूप से ऐसा मौका बनाया जा सकता है, जहाँ यह अभिव्यक्ति उपयोगी हो।
The conversation could create a natural opportunity where that expression is useful.
ट्यूटर दुकान के सहायक की भूमिका निभाते हुए पूछ सकता है कि आप किस चीज़ की तलाश में हैं।
The tutor might be playing a shop assistant and ask what it can help you find.
अब “Estoy buscando” को फिर से किसी अध्ययन कार्ड पर देखने के बजाय, आपके पास खुद इसका इस्तेमाल करने की एक वजह है।
Now instead of seeing "Estoy buscando" on a study card again, you have a reason to produce it.
बेन: तो मैं जवाब दे सकता हूँ, “Estoy buscando un regalo para mi amigo.”
Ben: So I might answer, "Estoy buscando un regalo para mi amigo."
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
और यह एक महत्वपूर्ण अंतर है।
And that's an important distinction.
आप केवल यह जाँच नहीं रहे कि अभिव्यक्ति को पहचानते हैं या नहीं। आप उसका इस्तेमाल करके कुछ बताने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।
You aren't only checking whether you recognise the expression. You're trying to use it to communicate something.
बेन: क्या ट्यूटर मेरी शब्दावली को हर वाक्य में जबरन शामिल करता रहता है?
Ben: Does the tutor constantly force my vocabulary into every sentence?
क्लारा: नहीं, और आप ऐसा चाहेंगे भी नहीं।
Clara: No, and you wouldn't want that.
उद्देश्य हर बातचीत को छिपी हुई शब्दावली परीक्षा में बदलना नहीं है।
The point is not to turn every conversation into a disguised vocabulary test.
सामान्य चैट में चुनी हुई शब्दावली को तभी वापस लाया जा सकता है, जब वह स्वाभाविक रूप से उपयुक्त हो। अगर आप खास तौर पर शब्दावली अभ्यास चुनते हैं, तो सत्र आपकी सीखी जा रही चीज़ों पर कहीं अधिक ध्यान दे सकता है।
In an ordinary chat, selected vocabulary can be brought back when it fits. If you specifically choose vocabulary practice, then the session can focus much more heavily on what you're learning.
बेन: यह सामान्य बातचीत करने और चैट के ज़रिए जानबूझकर पढ़ाई करने के बीच एक उपयोगी अंतर लगता है।
Ben: That seems like a useful difference between just chatting and deliberately studying through chat.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल। कभी-कभी आप यह भूलकर कि पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं, बस बातचीत करना चाहते हैं।
Clara: It is. Sometimes you want to forget that you're studying and simply have a conversation.
और कभी-कभी आप सोच सकते हैं, “मेरी शब्दावली में ये शब्द तो हैं, लेकिन मैं वास्तव में कभी इनका इस्तेमाल नहीं करता।”
At other times you might think, "I have these words in my vocabulary, but I never actually use them."
तब शब्दावली-केंद्रित बातचीत उपयोगी होती है।
Then a vocabulary-focused conversation makes sense.
बेन: और अगर बातचीत के दौरान मुझे परीक्षा जैसा कुछ चाहिए, तो क्या होगा?
Ben: And what happens if I need something more test-like during the conversation?
क्लारा: Vocafy अभ्यास को सीधे चैट में भी ला सकता है।
Clara: Vocafy can bring practice directly into the chat too.
उदाहरण के लिए, शब्दावली की तुरंत जाँच के लिए यह एक छोटा बहुविकल्पीय सवाल दिखा सकता है।
For example, it can show a short multiple-choice question for a quick vocabulary check.
इससे भी महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि यह ऐसा शब्द भी सामने ला सकता है जिसका रिव्यू वास्तव में करने का समय हो चुका है।
More importantly, it can also bring in an item that is actually due for review.
बेन: जब आप कहती हैं कि रिव्यू का समय हो चुका है, तो आपका मतलब मेरी सामान्य शब्दावली के रिव्यू से है?
Ben: When you say actually due for review, you mean from my normal vocabulary review?
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
आप किसी ऐसे दिखावटी सवाल का जवाब नहीं दे रहे जो केवल उस बातचीत के लिए बनाया गया हो।
You're not answering a pretend question that exists only inside that conversation.
जिस शब्दावली कार्ड का रिव्यू बाकी है, वह चैट में दिखाई दे सकता है। आप वहीं उसका जवाब देते हैं और परिणाम आपके सामान्य रिव्यू इतिहास का हिस्सा बन जाता है।
A vocabulary card that is due for review can appear in the chat. You answer it there, and the result becomes part of your normal review history.
इससे यह तय करने में मदद मिलती है कि वह शब्द अगली बार कब दिखाई दे।
That means it can affect when the item should appear again.
बेन: यह एआई द्वारा मेरे लिए कोई शब्दावली क्विज़ बना देने से काफ़ी अलग है।
Ben: That's quite different from an AI simply inventing a vocabulary quiz for me.
क्लारा: हाँ। दोनों उपयोगी हो सकते हैं, लेकिन वे अलग-अलग चीज़ें हैं।
Clara: Yes. Both can be useful, but they're different things.
एक ऐसा सवाल है जो बातचीत के हिस्से के रूप में बनाया गया है।
One is a question generated as part of the conversation.
दूसरा उस शब्दावली और उसके रिव्यू इतिहास से जुड़ा है, जिसे आप वास्तव में सीख रहे हैं।
The other is connected to vocabulary you're actually learning and to its review history.
बेन: यानी बातचीत सीखने की प्रणाली से सीधे जुड़ सकती है।
Ben: So the conversation can reach into the learning system.
क्लारा: उपलब्ध सुविधाओं के ज़रिए, हाँ।
Clara: In supported ways, yes.
और यह जुड़ाव दूसरी दिशा में भी काम कर सकता है।
And the connection can also work in the other direction.
बेन: यानी बातचीत भी बदले में कुछ दे सकती है?
Ben: Meaning the conversation can give something back?
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
कल्पना कीजिए कि ट्यूटर किसी ऐसे वाक्यांश का इस्तेमाल करता है जिसे आपने पहले कभी नहीं देखा और आप सोचते हैं, “यह उपयोगी है। मैं इसे याद रखना चाहता हूँ।”
Imagine the tutor uses a phrase you've never seen before and you think, "That's useful. I want to remember that."
उस वाक्यांश का सफ़र बातचीत पर ही खत्म होना ज़रूरी नहीं है।
Conversation doesn't have to be the end of that phrase.
Vocafy किसी उपयोगी शब्द या अभिव्यक्ति को उदाहरण वाक्य के साथ सहेजने का विकल्प दे सकता है।
Vocafy can offer to save a useful word or expression together with an example sentence.
बेन: अपने-आप?
Ben: Automatically?
क्लारा: वह इसे सहेजने का विकल्प दे सकता है, लेकिन इसे जोड़ना है या नहीं, यह आप तय करते हैं।
Clara: It can offer it, but you decide whether to add it.
आपकी अनुमति के बिना कुछ भी आपकी निजी शब्दावली का हिस्सा नहीं बनता।
Nothing becomes part of your personal vocabulary until you approve it.
बेन: यह मुझे पसंद है। वरना कोई बहुत उत्साही एआई शायद एक ही बातचीत से मेरी शब्दावली में पचास अभिव्यक्तियाँ भर दे।
Ben: I like that. Otherwise an enthusiastic AI could probably fill my vocabulary with fifty expressions from one conversation.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल सही।
Clara: Precisely.
ट्यूटर सीखने लायक किसी चीज़ पर आपका ध्यान दिला सकता है, लेकिन अंतिम निर्णय फिर भी आपका ही होता है।
The tutor can help you notice something worth learning, but you're still making the decision.
आपकी अनुमति के बाद वह अभिव्यक्ति आपकी निजी शब्दावली का हिस्सा बन जाती है। आप उसे “मेरा ज्ञान” में व्यवस्थित कर सकते हैं और Vocafy के उन दूसरे हिस्सों में इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं जो आपकी सहेजी गई शब्दावली के साथ काम करते हैं।
Once you approve it, that expression becomes part of your personal vocabulary. You can manage it in My Knowledge and use it in other parts of Vocafy that work with your saved vocabulary.
बेन: यानी यहाँ वास्तव में दो दिशाएँ हैं।
Ben: So there are really two directions here.
जो चीज़ मैं पहले से सीख रहा हूँ, वह बातचीत में आ सकती है और बातचीत से मिली कोई उपयोगी चीज़ मेरी शब्दावली में जा सकती है।
Something I'm already learning can enter the conversation, and something useful from the conversation can enter my vocabulary.
क्लारा: इसे समझने का यह बहुत अच्छा तरीका है।
Clara: That's a very good way to think about it.
और यही बात इस जुड़ाव को फ्लैशकार्ड प्रणाली के बगल में केवल एक चैटबॉट रख देने से कहीं अधिक दिलचस्प बनाती है।
And that's what makes the connection more interesting than simply putting a chatbot next to a flashcard system.
बातचीत और शब्दावली को पूरी तरह अलग रहने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
The conversation and the vocabulary don't have to remain completely separate.
बेन: आपने पहले बताया था कि मैं यह भी चुन सकता हूँ कि ट्यूटर कैसा व्यवहार करे।
Ben: Earlier you mentioned that I can choose how the tutor behaves too.
क्लारा: हाँ, क्योंकि हर किसी को एक ही तरह का शिक्षक पसंद नहीं होता।
Clara: Yes, because not everyone wants the same kind of teacher.
कुछ लोग चाहते हैं कि उनकी हर गलती तुरंत सुधारी जाए। दूसरों को यह थकाने वाला लगता है और वे प्रतिक्रिया मिलने से पहले अपनी बात पूरी करना पसंद करते हैं।
Some learners want every mistake corrected immediately. Others find that exhausting and would rather finish what they're saying before getting feedback.
कुछ लोग छोटे जवाब चाहते हैं। दूसरे लोग विस्तार से समझना चाहते हैं।
Some want short responses. Others want detailed explanations.
कुछ लोग सहज बातचीत करने वाला साथी चाहते हैं। दूसरे लोग पारंपरिक शिक्षक जैसा अनुभव पसंद करते हैं।
Some want a relaxed conversational partner. Others prefer something closer to a traditional teacher.
बेन: और Vocafy में इसे बदला जा सकता है?
Ben: And Vocafy lets you change that?
क्लारा: हाँ। आप औपचारिकता, जवाबों की विस्तृतता, सुधार के तरीके, ट्यूटर के प्रोत्साहन और उसके हास्य के स्तर जैसी चीज़ों को समायोजित कर सकते हैं।
Clara: Yes. You can adjust things such as formality, how detailed the responses should be, how correction works, how encouraging the tutor should be and how much humour it uses.
आप ट्यूटर को भाषा सीखने के कुछ खास क्षेत्रों पर अधिक ध्यान देने के लिए भी कह सकते हैं।
You can also give the tutor a stronger focus on particular areas of language learning.
साथ ही, आप यह तय कर सकते हैं कि स्पष्टीकरण देने के लिए आपकी पहले से ज्ञात भाषा का कितना इस्तेमाल किया जाए।
And you can decide how much of a language you already know should be used for explanations.
बेन: तो शुरुआती स्तर पर मैं कठिन बातें अपनी भाषा में समझना चाह सकता हूँ।
Ben: So as a beginner I might want difficult explanations in my own language.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
बाद में आप लगभग हर चीज़ उसी भाषा में रखना पसंद कर सकते हैं जिसे आप सीख रहे हैं।
Later, you might prefer to keep almost everything in the language you're learning.
और अगर आप ये सभी सेटिंग खुद नहीं करना चाहते, तो किसी पहले से तैयार ट्यूटर के साथ शुरुआत कर सकते हैं, जिसकी अपनी खास शिक्षण शैली हो।
And if you don't want to configure all of that yourself, you can start with a ready-made tutor that already has a particular teaching style.
बेन: मैं एक पल के लिए फिर से सुधारों की बात करना चाहता हूँ।
Ben: I want to go back to corrections for a moment.
भाषा में बातचीत करते समय मेरी एक समस्या यह है कि अगर हर वाक्य के बाद मुझे सुधारा जाए, तो मैं स्वाभाविक रूप से बात करना बंद कर देता हूँ।
One problem I have with language conversations is that if I'm corrected after every sentence, I stop talking naturally.
क्लारा: और ठीक इसी वजह से सुधार की शैली मायने रखती है।
Clara: And that's precisely why correction style matters.
कोई एक सेटिंग ऐसी नहीं है जो हर व्यक्ति या हर सत्र के लिए सही हो।
There isn't one setting that is right for everybody or for every session.
अगर आप खास तौर पर व्याकरण का अभ्यास कर रहे हैं, तो बार-बार सुधार मिलना शायद ठीक वही हो जो आप चाहते हैं।
If you're doing focused grammar practice, frequent correction might be exactly what you want.
अगर आप बातचीत को जारी रखने का अभ्यास कर रहे हैं, तो बहुत ज़्यादा रुकावटें उसके उद्देश्य को ही खत्म कर सकती हैं।
If you're practising keeping a conversation going, too many interruptions might defeat the purpose.
उपयोगी सवाल यह है कि उस समय आप किस चीज़ का अभ्यास करना चाहते हैं।
The useful question is what you're trying to practise at that moment.
बेन: यह एक आदर्श एआई शिक्षक व्यक्तित्व की धारणा से काफ़ी अलग है।
Ben: That's quite different from the idea of one perfect AI teacher personality.
क्लारा: हाँ। सीखने का अच्छा अनुभव कुछ हद तक काम पर और कुछ हद तक सीखने वाले व्यक्ति पर निर्भर करता है।
Clara: Yes. A good learning interaction depends partly on the task and partly on the learner.
कभी-कभी आपको एक शिक्षक चाहिए।
Sometimes you want a teacher.
कभी-कभी आपको बातचीत का साथी चाहिए।
Sometimes you want a conversation partner.
कभी-कभी आपको कोई ऐसा चाहिए जो शब्दावली के ज़रिए आपको चुनौती दे।
Sometimes you want somebody to challenge you with vocabulary.
और कभी-कभी आप वास्तविक जीवन में किसी परिस्थिति का सामना करने से पहले उसका अभ्यास करना चाहते हैं।
And sometimes you want to rehearse a specific situation before it happens in real life.
बेन: और बातचीतों का क्या होता है? क्या मेरे सत्र खत्म करते ही वे गायब हो जाती हैं?
Ben: What about the conversations themselves? Do they disappear when I finish?
क्लारा: नहीं। आप पिछली बातचीतों पर वापस जाकर बाद में अभ्यास जारी रख सकते हैं।
Clara: No. You can return to earlier conversations and continue practising later.
आप उन्हें खोज और व्यवस्थित भी कर सकते हैं, उपयोगी बातचीतों को पसंदीदा के रूप में चिह्नित कर सकते हैं और जिन्हें मुख्य सूची में नहीं रखना चाहते, उन्हें आर्काइव कर सकते हैं।
You can also search and organise them, mark useful conversations as favourites and archive ones you no longer want in your main list.
बेन: यह सरल लगता है, लेकिन अगर एक बातचीत इंटरव्यू की तैयारी के लिए हो और दूसरी यात्रा के अभ्यास के लिए, तो यह काफ़ी उपयोगी हो सकता है।
Ben: That seems simple, but I can imagine it being useful if I had one conversation preparing for an interview and another practising a trip.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
सिर्फ़ सत्र खत्म हो जाने से उपयोगी बातचीत को छोड़ देना ज़रूरी नहीं है।
A useful conversation doesn't have to become disposable just because the session ended.
बेन: मैं देखना चाहता हूँ कि पूरी बात मुझे सही समझ आई है या नहीं।
Ben: Let me see if I've understood the bigger picture.
मैं खुली बातचीत, अधिक मार्गदर्शित पाठ, शब्दावली अभ्यास या रोल-प्ले से शुरुआत कर सकता हूँ।
I can start with a free conversation, a more guided lesson, vocabulary practice or a roleplay.
ट्यूटर मेरी पहले से सीखी जा रही कुछ शब्दावली के साथ काम कर सकता है।
The tutor can work with some vocabulary I'm already learning.
जिस शब्दावली का रिव्यू बाकी है, वह बातचीत में दिखाई दे सकती है और उसे असली रिव्यू के रूप में गिना जा सकता है।
A due vocabulary review can appear inside the conversation and count as a real review.
और अगर कोई उपयोगी नई अभिव्यक्ति सामने आती है, तो मैं उसे अपनी शब्दावली में जोड़ना चुन सकता हूँ।
And if a useful new expression comes up, I can choose to add it to my vocabulary.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल सही।
Clara: That's it.
और इस बात पर भी ध्यान दीजिए कि हम क्या नहीं कह रहे हैं।
And notice what we're not saying.
एआई को चुपचाप आपकी पूरी सीखने की योजना बनाने या आगे क्या सीखना चाहिए, इसका हर निर्णय लेने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
The AI doesn't need to secretly design your entire learning plan or decide everything you should learn next.
उपयोगी हिस्सा इससे कहीं अधिक स्पष्ट और व्यावहारिक है।
The useful part is much more concrete.
यह बातचीत को सीखने की प्रक्रिया के उन हिस्सों से जोड़ सकता है जो इसके बिना अलग-अलग जगहों पर रहते।
It can connect conversation with parts of the learning process that would otherwise sit in separate places.
बेन: यह उस बात से मेल खाता है जिस पर हम इस पॉडकास्ट में पहले भी चर्चा कर चुके हैं।
Ben: Which fits something we've talked about before on this podcast.
किसी शब्द को सीखना केवल उसे पर्याप्त बार देख लेना नहीं है। आखिरकार, आप चाहते हैं कि वह सामने आने पर आपको समझ आए और ज़रूरत पड़ने पर आप उसका इस्तेमाल कर सकें।
Learning a word isn't just seeing it enough times. Eventually you want to understand it when it appears and be able to use it when you need it.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
याद करके उत्तर देने का अभ्यास शब्दावली सीखने में मदद कर सकता है, लेकिन भाषा केवल याददाश्त की परीक्षा नहीं है। आपको किसी उद्देश्य के लिए अपनी सीखी हुई चीज़ों का इस्तेमाल करने के अवसर भी चाहिए।
Retrieval practice can help vocabulary learning, but language isn't only a memory test. You also need opportunities to use what you know for a purpose.
बातचीत आपको ऐसा ही एक अवसर देती है।
Conversation gives you one of those opportunities.
बेन: अगर कोई पहली बार ट्यूटर खोल रहा हो, तो आप क्या सुझाव देंगी?
Ben: So if somebody opens the tutor for the first time, what would you suggest?
क्लारा: किसी वास्तविक उद्देश्य से शुरुआत कीजिए।
Clara: Start with a real purpose.
सिर्फ़ “मुझे स्पेनिश सिखाइए” न लिखें।
Don't just type "teach me Spanish."
ऐसा विषय चुनें जिस पर आप सचमुच बात करना चाहते हैं या ऐसी परिस्थिति चुनें जिसका आपको वास्तव में सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
Choose something you actually want to talk about or a situation you might genuinely encounter.
अगर आपके पास पहले से सीखी जा रही शब्दावली है, तो शब्दावली सत्र आज़माएँ और उन अभिव्यक्तियों को केवल पहचानने के बजाय उनका इस्तेमाल करने के मौके बनाएँ।
If you have vocabulary you're already learning, try a vocabulary session and give yourself opportunities to use those expressions rather than only recognise them.
और जब बातचीत में कोई ऐसा वाक्यांश सामने आए जिसे आप सचमुच याद रखना चाहते हैं, तो उसे सहेज लें।
And when the conversation produces a phrase that you genuinely want to remember, save it.
बेन: और कुछ?
Ben: Anything else?
क्लारा: सुधारों को रुकावट समझने के बजाय उन पर ध्यान दीजिए।
Clara: Pay attention to corrections instead of treating them as interruptions.
अगर ट्यूटर किसी बात को व्यक्त करने का बेहतर तरीका दिखाता है, तो बाद में उसी बातचीत में उस रूप का खुद इस्तेमाल करने की कोशिश करें।
If the tutor shows you a better way to express something, try using that form yourself later in the conversation.
लक्ष्य बिना किसी गलती के बातचीत करना नहीं है।
The goal isn't to have a flawless chat.
अक्सर गलतियों में ही सबसे उपयोगी अभ्यास छिपा होता है।
The mistakes are often where the useful practice is.
बेन: यह किसी सर्वज्ञ एआई शिक्षक से बात करने जैसा कम और बातचीत को सीखने के एक और माहौल के रूप में इस्तेमाल करने जैसा ज़्यादा लगता है।
Ben: That sounds much less like talking to an all-knowing AI teacher and much more like using conversation as another learning environment.
क्लारा: बिल्कुल।
Clara: Exactly.
एआई बातचीत की सुविधा को कहीं अधिक आसानी से उपलब्ध करा सकता है।
AI can make conversation much easier to access.
लेकिन Vocafy में दिलचस्प बात तब होती है, जब वह बातचीत अलग-थलग नहीं रहती।
But the interesting part in Vocafy is what happens when that conversation is not isolated.
आपके सीखे जा रहे शब्द चैट में आ सकते हैं। वहीं असली रिव्यू हो सकता है। और बातचीत से मिली उपयोगी भाषा आपकी शब्दावली में वापस जोड़ी जा सकती है।
Words you're learning can come into the chat. Real review can happen there. Useful language from the conversation can go back into your vocabulary.
बातचीत एक और ऐसी जगह बन जाती है, जहाँ आपकी सीख जारी रह सकती है।
The conversation becomes another place where your learning can continue.
बेन: और शायद यही असली फर्क है।
Ben: And maybe that's the real difference.
चैट अंतिम मंज़िल नहीं है। यह पूरी प्रणाली का एक हिस्सा है।
The chat isn't the destination. It's part of the system.
क्लारा: इसे कहने का यह अच्छा तरीका है।
Clara: That's a good way to put it.
बेन: क्लारा, हमें यह सब समझाने के लिए धन्यवाद।
Ben: Clara, thanks for walking us through it.
क्लारा: मुझे खुशी हुई।
Clara: My pleasure.
बेन: और सुन रहे सभी लोगों के लिए एक छोटा-सा प्रयोग—ऐसी परिस्थिति चुनिए जिसे आप अपनी नई भाषा में सचमुच संभालना चाहते हैं, रोल-प्ले शुरू कीजिए और देखिए कि आप अपनी सीखी हुई चीज़ों में से कितना वास्तव में इस्तेमाल कर पाते हैं।
Ben: And to everyone listening, try one simple experiment. Pick a situation you actually want to handle in your new language, start a roleplay, and see how much of what you're learning you can actually use.
क्लारा: और अगर आपको सहेजने लायक कोई अभिव्यक्ति मिल जाए, तो आप जानते हैं कि क्या करना है।
Clara: And if you discover one expression worth keeping, you know what to do.
