So when you return to the word later, you do not have to remember why you saved it or what it meant in that situation.

Your saved vocabulary is not tied to a single book, video or exercise.
Vocafy keeps a central record of the words and phrases you are learning, where they came from and whether you are still learning them or already know them.
You can browse your vocabulary, find recently added words and change their status when your knowledge changes.
When the same word appears again in supported content, Vocafy can also show that you have seen or saved it before.
Start from what you already know
If you are not a complete beginner, you do not have to build your vocabulary history one word at a time.
A quick vocabulary survey lets you go through groups of common words and mark the ones you already know. This gives Vocafy a better starting point for showing your progress and separating familiar vocabulary from words you are still learning.
You can also set a vocabulary goal and follow how much of it you have already covered.
Review words in different ways
Seeing a word and recognising it is different from remembering it yourself or understanding it when you hear it.
Vocafy therefore gives you several ways to review the same vocabulary. You can choose the correct answer, complete a sentence, type the word from memory, listen and choose what you heard, or write it down from audio.
The review system schedules words over time, while you can choose how you want to practise them.
Listen to what you are learning
You do not always have to sit in front of the screen to spend time with your vocabulary.
Your saved words, translations and example sentences can also be played as a continuous listening session.
You can move backwards and forwards, repeat items and change the playback speed, making it useful when walking, travelling or doing something else.
See how your vocabulary develops
Vocafy keeps a history of important activity around your vocabulary.
You can see when words were saved, when their learning status changed, when you practised them and where some of those activities came from.
This makes it easier to see your vocabulary as something that develops over time rather than as a collection of separate word lists.
Use the same vocabulary in other parts of Vocafy
Words you save do not have to stay inside the review system.
They can appear again when you read or watch something else, and supported activities can use vocabulary you are already learning.
For example, the AI tutor can bring selected words from your vocabulary into a conversation or a vocabulary-focused session. If a useful new expression comes up while you are chatting, you can also save it from the conversation.
Collections when you want them, one memory underneath
You can organise selected vocabulary into Voca Sets when you want to keep words together for a topic, course, trip or other purpose.
Your Learning Memory is broader. A word can be part of what you are learning even if you never add it to a particular collection.
You choose what to do next
The Learning Memory helps keep track of what you save, practise and encounter across Vocafy. It does not require you to follow one fixed learning path.
You can read, review, listen, practise pronunciation, have a conversation or return to something you saved earlier. Where the features are connected, the vocabulary you have already worked with can come with you.
