Choose how you want to hear it

Different situations call for different kinds of listening.

You can adjust the playback order—for example, hearing the target language before the translation or the other way around—and control the pauses between the expression, its meaning, and its example.

Repeat items when you need more exposure, or keep the playlist moving when you simply want to listen.

Practise without constantly looking at the screen

Vocabulary practice does not always have to demand your full visual attention.

Use continuous playback while walking, commuting, cooking, or whenever you want to spend time with the language without working through another screen-based exercise.

Playback controls let you move forward or back, change speed, repeat material, and continue through the current queue.

Build listening around a collection

A Voca set can become more than a vocabulary list.

Create a collection around a topic, course, trip, book, or personal goal, then use the same words, phrases, translations, and examples as focused listening material.

With more detailed playback controls, you can adjust repetitions and pauses, change the order of the languages, focus on selected material, or use a sleep timer for longer listening sessions.
