Englische Pronomen markieren deutlich Person, Zahl und Fall, zum Beispiel I/me, he/him, she/her, we/us und they/them; sie helfen auch, die Perspektive im Satz zu steuern.
I saw her yesterday.
I = der Sprecher als Subjekt; her = die andere Person als Objekt der Handlung.
Lernende verwechseln manchmal Subjekt- und Objektpronomen oder verwenden Pronomen, ohne dass klar ist, auf wen sie sich beziehen.
