Word order is the way words and groups of words are arranged in a sentence. Their positions can show who does what, which words belong together, or what the speaker highlights. Some languages use a fairly fixed order to show participants' roles, while others have no single fixed order and use position more to organize the message. Unlike Endings, word order works through position rather than pieces attached to a word.
