语言视角
在母语中
Mandarin has no articles like a/the; known, specific, new, or generic reference is handled by context, demonstratives, numerals/classifiers, word order, and discourse flow.
我买了一本书。
wǒ mǎi le yì běn shū = I bought one CL book
在目标语言中
Definiteness is central: ال, nunation, iḍāfa and context all affect reference.
قرأتُ كتابًا. الكتابُ مفيد.
I read a book. The book is useful.
Learners may treat ال like English “the” and miss generic or iḍāfa definiteness.
Same block, different coding
Both languages use this block strongly, but they signal it differently. Focus on form changes, not only meaning.
