Vocafy gives you full flexibility to build your own study collections. You can create sets in two easy ways:

Method 1: AI Quick Set (Fastest)

If you need vocabulary for a specific situation or topic:

  1. Navigate to Vocabulary Sets (/v) and click Create Set or choose Generate with AI.
  2. Type your topic in plain language (for example: "Renting a car at an airport", "Ordering coffee in Italian", or "Tech interview expressions"). You can also paste your own text or article notes.
  3. Select your target CEFR level and set size (such as 10 or 20 words).
  4. Click Generate. In seconds, Vocafy creates a complete set with translations, natural example sentences, and audio pronunciation.

Method 2: Manual Creation (Personalized)

If you want to collect words from your daily life, books, or classes:

  1. Click Create Set and enter a title and description for your collection.
  2. Add words one by one. As you type a term, Vocafy automatically suggests matching translations, definitions, and audio options.
  3. Add your own custom example sentences or personal notes anytime.

Tip: Both AI and manual sets can be practiced immediately in the Practice Player, shared with friends, or kept completely private.
