В английском желание, готовность и намерение выражают want to, would like to, be going to, will, plan to и intend to. Will может быть и намерением, и прогнозом о будущем — это зависит от контекста.
I want to help.
want to = желание/намерение: want to + глагол показывает, что говорящий хочет или намерен помочь.
Учащиеся могут путать прогноз о будущем с намерением или неправильно выбирать между want to и более вежливым would like to.
